SAMPLE Gatty's Kelp Forest - Deep Blue Sea

Story
Margaret Gatty was a 19th century phycologist, a collector and researcher of seaweed, a pioneering scientist at a time when female scientists were very thin on the ground indeed and the sight of a respectable woman, the wife of a vicar no less, foraging on the shore in her petticoats would have been, to put it mildly, surprising. Her extraordinary collection of seaweeds is housed at St Andrews University in Scotland and is a testament to the richness and diversity of one the most productive and dynamic ecosystems on Earth.
Stripes are a great way of accentuating the height, making rooms appear wider or taller – or even scaling them down. Getty’s Kelp Forest both grabs your attention and provides subtle interest - an excellent choice when bringing pattern into your home!
