Three Legged Race 100% Irish Linen

Three Legged Race is school sports day in one go. Legs tied together, instructions shouted, very little coordination. It starts with good intentions and ends in laughter, usually on the grass. Winning is rarely the point. Getting to the end at all feels like enough.

The design plays with pairing and repetition shapes set side by side, slightly out of step with one another. Drawn by hand and printed from woodcut blocks, there’s a sense of movement and imbalance that keeps it from feeling too tidy. It’s ordered, but only just.

Designed to pair with our wallpapers, Three Legged Race works well on curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. It adds pattern with a bit of humour familiar, relaxed, and easy to live with.

Part of Annika Reed Studio’s Games collection, Games explores the idea of play, learned or invented, structured or free, passed from one person to another. Some games feel familiar, others less so, yet all share a gentle rhythm of turns, focus, and trying again.

Each pattern turns that sense of order and chance into cloth: repeats, shifts, and balanced compositions. Nostalgic but not time bound, the collection feels playful, grounded, and easy to live with at home.
