Tiger Tiger Grasscloth
Tyger Tyger, burning bright.
William Blake saw something in the tiger that no one else had quite put into words that particular combination of beauty, power and untamed joy. This design starts there. Inquisitive, bold, a little bit wild, and completely impossible to ignore.
Hand carved in the Somerset studio, the tiger has a life and energy to it that grasscloth makes fiercer still. The natural fibres catch the carved line differently through the day the pattern shifting, breathing, burning in its own quiet way.
As appealing to grown up eyes as it is to young ones. For rooms with a sense of curiosity and wonder.
The pattern is the set. Your room is the stage.

STORY BEHIND TIGER TIGER
Tiger Tiger is inspired by the William Blake poem Tyger Tyger and was the first wallpaper I designed, for my daughter's bedroom. It is the wonderment Blake has for the world and the miracle of nature that I wanted my daughter to share. The illustration of the tiger is innocent, however, the meaning is complex and will provoke debate as she grows. This wallpaper is perfect for creating a room with a sense of curiosity and wonder.
