Winged Lion Linen

Introduce a touch of mythical elegance to your interiors with our Winged Lion linen, where the majestic lions of ancient lore take flight across your fabrics. Drawing inspiration from age-old mythology, this design encapsulates both wisdom and curiosity, captivating both children and adults alike with its enchanting narrative.

The "Winged Lion" linen is available in two refined pastel colourways.

The first, Delft Blue, pays homage to the famed craft of Delft pottery, offering a soft, charming palette that evokes a sense of tranquility and artistic heritage.

The second, a vibrant mustard, brings a warm, energising atmosphere that complements the bold and spirited essence of the design.

STORY BEHIND WINGED LION

Stood guarding my studio are two winged lion statues, the proud protectors of my studio space. The mythical creature dates back to ancient times and is a powerful symbol, used to give an immediate and unique sign of identity, strength and wisdom. I designed the wallpaper to bring this same feeling of protection into any space, whether that’s a playful children’s room or a grand living space. The design also brings a softness to this mythical being, showcased in a palette of two subtle pastel colourways.
