Grasscloth does something quite particular to a bluebell.
The natural fibres catch the carved line differently giving that softly nodding stem a texture and depth that feels genuinely found, like something growing through the weave. The hush of a woodland floor, but with a warmth and richness that only grasscloth can bring.
The blue shifts through the day as the light moves across it. Never quite the same twice.

Part of Annika Reed Studio’s Upstairs Downstairs collection, Bluebell belongs to the Downstairs chapter – four sophisticated single stem botanicals that root the home in the rhythm of the British seasons. Inspired by the classic 2 up, 2 down home, the collection celebrates the grounding embrace of nature below and the boundless wonder of childhood above.
Steeped in British folklore, bluebells are said to ring to summon woodland fairies and are a symbol of humility and everlasting love. Traditionally, they were thought to bring peace and calm to those who kept them close, a gentle balm for busy lives.
Hand carved in Annika’s Somerset studio using traditional woodblock techniques, Bluebell brings that same quiet magic to the home, a soft, grounding presence for spaces where you want to slow down and breathe.
