Protecting original design and human creativity

At Annika Reed Studio, every design begins with an idea, developed through drawing, carving and the traditional art of woodblock printing. Our patterns are the result of original creative work, time, skill and a distinctly human approach to design.

All artwork, patterns, illustrations, wallpaper designs, fabric designs, photographs and other creative content featured on this website are protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property rights.

We are committed to protecting the integrity of our work and the value of original design.

Use of our designs with artificial intelligence (AI)

Unless expressly authorised in writing by Annika Reed Studio, our designs and creative content must not be uploaded, submitted or supplied to generative AI tools or platforms for the purpose of generating, modifying or recreating images, interiors, products or other outputs featuring our work.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Uploading images of our wallpaper or fabric designs to AI interior visualisation, room styling or image-generation tools.

  • Using our designs as image references, prompts or source material to generate AI-rendered interiors or other visual content.

  • Reproducing, adapting, imitating or creating derivative designs from our artwork using AI tools.

  • Using our creative content for AI model training, fine tuning, dataset creation or other machine-learning purposes.

This restriction applies whether the intended use is personal, commercial, promotional or otherwise, unless we have given prior written permission.

Sharing and displaying our work

We love seeing our designs in people's homes, and we welcome photographs of our wallpaper and fabrics in real interiors.

You are welcome to share genuine photographs of our products in your home, provided our work is credited to Annika Reed Studio where reasonably practicable.

However, permission to share a photograph of our work does not constitute permission to upload our designs to AI platforms, generate AI rendered representations of our work or grant third parties rights to use our intellectual property.

Copyright and permissions

No rights in our original artwork or designs are transferred through the purchase of wallpaper, fabric or other products, or through access to this website.

No licence is granted under this policy to reproduce, distribute, adapt, commercially exploit or use our designs for AI training or generation.

Any permitted use beyond the purchase and ordinary enjoyment of our products requires our prior written authorisation.

We reserve all rights in our intellectual property and will consider appropriate action where our rights are infringed.
