It does not account for architectural details such as alcoves, sloping ceilings, uneven walls, or chimney breasts, nor does it factor in individual installer methods. Because measurements can be taken differently and installation preferences vary, the calculator intentionally errs on the side of caution to allow for pattern repeat and trimming.
