Stow Away with the Sailors is a journey across imagined seas where ropes become stripes, sailors strike poses, and sea shanties set the rhythm. This wallpaper is filled with nautical detail: accordion players, ship’s wheels, anchors, lighthouses and lookout posts, each hand carved using traditional woodblock techniques.

Inspired by a family history of fishermen and a lifelong love of coastal tales, this pattern captures the camaraderie, courage and quiet humour of life at sea. It invites young adventurers to drift into stories of far off harbours and salty air, without leaving the room.

It celebrates the spirit of the sea and the stories it carries, pairing quiet detail with playful energy for a design that sets sail beyond the everyday.

This design celebrates the spirit of adventure and the rhythm of the sea. Inspired by my own family’s roots in fishing, and the sea shanties that filled our home, it’s a pattern that honours storytelling, song, and the quiet magic of maritime life.

Hand carved in my Somerset studio using traditional woodblock techniques, it’s the visual soundtrack to your home, it can be a journey, a memory, a world waiting to unfold.
