About Annika Reed Studio
Annika Reed Studio creates wallpapers and fabrics inspired by folklore, theatre, Victorian curiosities and the everyday magic of Somerset.
Every design begins as a traditional woodblock print before becoming wallpapers and fabrics that bring character, storytelling and playfulness into homes around the world.
From our studio in Frome, we design, sell and ship internationally to both retail and trade customers. As an award-winning independent business, we're looking for an organised, proactive Studio, Sales & Operations Manager to own the commercial and operational running of the studio.
The Role
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys making businesses run well.
Working directly alongside the founder in a small studio, you will have high autonomy and direct impact on day to day trading. Taking ownership of customer orders, trade relationships, website administration and the systems that keep everything running smoothly.
This is a varied role with real responsibility. While your focus will be operations, customer experience and trade, you'll also support launches, exhibitions, website updates and photoshoots throughout the year.
This is not a design role, nor is it intended as a route into one. We're looking for someone who loves running a business behind the scenes and takes pride in making everything work brilliantly.
Core Responsibilities
Sales & Trade
Own all sales orders — retail and trade — from receipt through to invoicing and delivery.
Issue and track quotations, invoices and payment follow-up.
Build and maintain relationships with trade customers, showrooms and retail.
Follow ups and outreach
Maintain trade price lists and customer records.
Respond to customer enquiries by email and phone.
Operations
Liaise with manufacturing and delivery partners.
Track orders, resolve issues and keep customers updated.
Prepare export documentation and shipments meet current requirements.
Studio & Systems
Manage Shopify, CRM and studio systems.
Keep records accurate, organised and up to date.
Produce monthly sales reports.
Maintain clear processes and digital filing.
Provide diary and administrative support where required.
Website & Marketing
Upload products, collections, blogs and website content to Shopify.
Maintain product information and imagery.
Upload and format Klaviyo email campaigns.
Basic SEO maintenance and metadata formatting
Support website updates and marketing implementation.
This role focuses on publishing and maintaining content rather than creating it.
Projects (occasional)
As a growing creative business, priorities shift throughout the year. You'll occasionally support product launches, trade shows, press campaigns, photoshoots and other studio projects as required.
What We're Looking For
A hard worker who takes genuine pride in getting things done properly, every day.
Confident and personable comfortable picking up the phone, talking to trade customers and steering a sales conversation.
Someone who can work quietly and independently, but brings energy to a small team.
Experience in sales, trade sales, account coordination or studio/office management.
Confidence owning invoicing, quotations and customer follow-up without prompting.
Excellent Excel and spreadsheet skills.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience using Shopify or another e-commerce platform.
Calm under pressure, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities without being asked twice.
Able to work independently from our Frome studio, five days a week.
An interest in interiors, craft or the creative industries is desirable.
Why Join Us?
You'll join a small, ambitious business where your work will have a real impact every day.
This is an opportunity to take ownership, help shape how the studio operates and grow alongside an award winning independent brand.
